Rattan Storage, Shape and Use

Set on a kitchen ledge or on a bathroom shelf, the banana shaped rattan basket immediately shows its double nature: a storage piece designed for daily life, shaped by hand from carefully selected natural rattan. Its elongated silhouette fits narrow spaces and holds fruit as easily as small accessories or skincare products. The tight weave ensures a solid structure that keeps its shape over time. Simple in material and unique in curve, it fits in a bedroom, a kitchen or an entryway without trying to stand out.

Every Piece Shaped by Hand

Because hand weaving allows no approximation, two banana rattan baskets made by the same artisan will never be exactly identical: slight variations in tension, subtle differences in relief, each piece carries the trace of the gesture that built it. The rattan is worked strand by strand at the workshop's own pace, which gives the structure a remarkable strength and an even finish all the way to the rim. The banana silhouette, with its wide curve and pronounced shape, suits an interior with simple volumes as well as a room with a mix of moods. A useful object that fully embraces its original shape without trying to fade away.

Store, Present, Enhance

On a sideboard, in an entryway or at the heart of a kitchen, the banana shaped rattan basket adapts to your uses without ever disappearing into the decor. Its hand worked silhouette has a natural curve that catches the eye, whether you fill it with fruit, mail or small everyday objects. Hand woven rattan offers a supple yet resilient structure here, able to last for years without losing its shape. Far from a simple container, this piece easily combines function and visual presence, two qualities rarely found in the same object. It suits a contemporary interior as well as a home with a more rustic character.
