A Scratching Surface for Calm Claws

When your cat looks for a place to stretch or sharpen its claws, the quality of the surface makes all the difference. Our black scratching post with plush top answers this instinctive need with a tall woven column, sturdy and steady under the weight of active cats. The dark color blends into a contemporary interior without dominating the room. The tight weave gives your cat a firm grip and a lasting play spot, far from flimsy covers that fray at first use. The wide square base keeps it upright during the most energetic scratching sessions.

A Complete Play Spot

Scratching, stretching, watching from above: a cat's day revolves around precise gestures this black scratching post supports naturally. The tall woven surface offers ideal resistance for claws, much more rewarding than synthetic carpet. The hanging pompom invites paw play, while the plush top quickly becomes your cat's favorite lookout. Each side will take scratching and acrobatics without losing its shape, for daily use that lasts. Its 32.3 in height lets even a large cat stretch out fully.

A Happy Companion Every Day

Climbing, watching, stretching up high: an indoor cat needs a space that answers its natural instincts. This black scratching post with plush top gives it a tall column to sharpen its claws, a soft perch to rest on and a toy to bat at its own pace. The woven surface brings real resistance to repeated use, where many synthetic covers fray quickly. Sober in silhouette and solid in build, it fits into a well kept interior without clashing with the rest of the furniture. Your cat finds a territory, and you find a piece that looks at home.

Frequently asked questions

How big is it?

It stands 32.3 in (82 cm) tall on a 16.1 x 16.1 in (41 x 41 cm) square base, tall enough for a full stretch.

What is it made of?

The column has a tight black woven scratching surface, the top perch and base are covered in black plush, and a pompom toy hangs from the top.

Is it stable?

Set it on a flat floor, ideally against a wall or in a corner. For very large or very lively cats, check that it stays steady before leaving them to play alone.

How do I clean it?

Vacuum the plush and posts with a brush attachment to lift hair, and spot clean marks with a damp cloth and mild soap. Let it dry fully before your cat uses it again.
