Hand Woven Rattan Hot Air Balloon Nursery Decor

When an object is born entirely under a maker's fingers, you can see and feel it: each curve of this hand woven rattan hot air balloon reflects meticulous work, where no piece is exactly like another. Rattan, a supple and strong material, is woven at a patient rhythm that gives the balloon its round silhouette and a texture soft to the eye. Hung near a window or in a corner of the room, it catches the light and holds little ones' attention without startling them. Its natural palette suits every space, from the most pared back rooms to warmer decors. A handmade piece, made to last well beyond the first months.

A baby's room deserves special attention, and the hand woven rattan hot air balloon brings it a calm, natural presence. The openwork structure of the rattan lets light pass through, drawing soft shadows on the walls as the day goes by. Each strand woven by hand gives the whole a gentle solidity, with no sharp edges. Hand woven rattan has that rare quality of being both light and sturdy, which makes it easy to hang from a ceiling hook or a wall bracket. It is a decoration to look at, meant to hang out of the baby's reach.
