Long Lasting Natural Rattan

When you choose a light to dress a home for the long term, the quality of the material matters as much as the shape. This lantern woven rattan lamp shade is shaped by hand in carefully selected rattan, known for its strength and long term resistance. Each carefully woven stitch ensures a stable structure that handles years of use without warping or weakening. You invest in a piece made to last, far from short lived decorative accessories. Sturdy and easy to care for, it fits a living room, a bedroom or a reading space where you want soft light and lasting decor.

Light Filtered by Natural Rattan

Set above a nightstand or hung in a hallway, a lantern woven rattan lamp shade transforms the quality of light well before it changes the decor. The weave lets brightness through at intervals, drawing moving patterns on the walls that vary with the strength of the bulb. This play of shadow and light, typical of hand woven plant fibers, creates a soft, enveloping atmosphere hard to get with a fabric or metal shade. Its sober silhouette suits a pared back bedroom as well as a living room in earthy tones.

A Light That Invites Rest

When the day slows down and you feel like curling up at home, lighting plays a much bigger role than you might think. Woven by hand on a metal frame, this lantern woven rattan lamp shade filters light, casting fine geometric shadows on your walls and creating a muted, enveloping atmosphere. The natural rattan weave softens the brightness without smothering it, for a mood perfect for relaxing in the evening. Hung in a bedroom, a living room or a reading corner, it turns a simple corner into a place where it feels good to take your time.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the shade?

It measures 7.1 x 14.2 in (18 x 36 cm), a tall lantern shape for a pendant above a table, a bedside or in a hallway.

Is it a complete lamp?

No, it is the shade only. Fit it on a pendant cord set, a lamp base or a sconce you already own, with an LED bulb that stays cool.

What bulb should I use?

Use an LED bulb, which stays cool next to natural fibers, in a warm white around 2700K to bring out the golden tone of the rattan.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven shade with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
