Hand Woven Light

Set on a side table or near a window, a candle is enough to reveal the whole character of this large retro woven bamboo candle lantern: the light filters through the natural beige bamboo weave and casts on your walls a network of moving shadows no factory shade reproduces. Each crossing of strands reflects a precise gesture, repeated by skilled hands until the structure is both solid and open. The natural tone of bamboo suits a raw interior as well as a patio in the evening. A piece made to last, season after season, without ever looking out of place.

Woven Fiber and Soft Light

Set on a garden table or slipped into a corner of the living room, a lantern lives in a space differently from an ordinary light. The large retro woven bamboo candle lantern is made to hold a candle, whose flame slips between the braids and casts warm, moving, changing patterns on the walls. The fiber, a supple material worked by hand, plays an active role here: it filters, dims and gives rhythm to the light instead of simply letting it through. The result is light that wraps without glare, whether it goes with a meal on the patio or quietly punctuates a living space.

A Meaningful Gift Idea

Looking for a present for a housewarming, a birthday or a happy event often takes time and inspiration. The large retro woven bamboo candle lantern naturally meets that need: useful every day, it brings soft light and a warm visual presence to any room. Its hand weave gives it an authentic character you do not find in mass produced objects. At home in contemporary interiors as well as more country moods, this woven lantern fits effortlessly into the world of those who receive it, whatever their decor taste.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lantern?

It measures 26.8 x 14.2 in (68 x 36 cm), a generous floor lantern for an entry, a fireplace corner, a covered porch or next to a sofa.

Can I use a real candle?

Yes, it is made for a candle. Use a candle in a glass holder, never leave it unattended, and keep the flame well away from the woven sides. A battery LED candle is the safest choice.

Can it stay outside?

Use it outdoors in dry weather, then bring it back in. Natural bamboo and rattan last longest under cover, away from rain and prolonged humidity.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven lantern with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
