A Hamper That Stores and Decorates

A Hamper That Stores and Decorates

Set in a living room corner or at the foot of a bed, a dark brown woven hamper quickly becomes indispensable. Each piece is woven by hand from sturdy rattan, selected for the regularity of its strands and the strength of its structure. The fitted lid and side handles make it easy to close and move from room to room, whether it holds laundry, throws or magazines. The dark brown tone suits light interiors as well as darker decors, without forcing the harmony. A useful object, designed to last.

Natural Rattan Woven by Hand

Natural Rattan Woven by Hand

Behind each lidded rattan hamper with a liner is a precise gesture: that of the artisan who interlaces the rattan strands with controlled tension, piece after piece, for a structure that is both supple and resilient. The fabric liner protects delicate clothes from the weave and keeps small items from slipping through. Its woven construction gives it a lasting rigidity, even with intensive daily use. In a bedroom, under a bathroom counter or in an entryway, this multipurpose woven hamper fits effortlessly into your home thanks to its balanced shape and deep, warm finish.

Rattan Day After Day

Storing laundry, gathering scattered toys, centralizing small everyday things: a good lidded storage hamper goes with every household gesture without ever disappearing into the decor. Each piece is woven by hand from stems selected for their natural strength, which ensures a structure that stands up to repeated use, season after season. The material keeps its shape over time where other materials warp or wear out. This woven rattan hamper becomes a discreet but reliable companion, as sturdy as it is practical, that you place wherever it is needed.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lidded hamper?

It measures 12.6 x 18.1 in (32 x 46 cm) and 9.4 in (24 cm) deep. Its low, wide shape slides under a bed, a bench or a bathroom counter.

What is the liner for?

The fabric liner protects clothes from the weave, keeps small items from slipping through and is easy to wipe or spot clean.

Can I put damp towels in it?

Let towels dry before tossing them in. Natural fibers breathe, but leaving wet laundry inside for days can cause mildew. Empty the hamper regularly and let it air out.

How do I clean a rattan basket?

Remove dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or leaving it in direct sun for long periods.
