Wood and Levitation

Holding a piece in empty space with no visible wire is what this magnetic levitating wood lamp makes possible, thanks to a remarkably precise levitation system. The wood is chosen vein by vein, for the uniqueness of its natural tones and the softness it brings to the whole. Powered by a low energy LED, it spreads a warm, even light, suited to an open living room as well as an intimate study. Its magnetic system keeps the piece balanced in the air, creating a floating point both unexpected and perfectly controlled.

Raw Wood and Magnetic Levitation

Looking at a magnetic levitating wood lamp means watching two seemingly opposite logics reconcile: the warmth of a living material, with unique veins and knots, and the precision of a mechanism that defies gravity. The wood shows a carefully worked surface, whose natural tone variations remind you that each piece stays unique, shaped by the growth of the tree long before it entered your home. The magnetic attraction, discreet in operation, becomes the real conversation piece when a guest notices it holds with nothing at all. An object that intrigues as much as it decorates, suited to spaces where raw wood meets contemporary lines.

A Conversation Piece at Home

Set on a desk, a bookshelf or a console, the magnetic levitating wood lamp draws every eye with a sobriety you notice without looking for it. The wood, selected for its grain and density, carries a warmth synthetic materials do not deliver. The floating light brings a touch of wonder to an entry, a bedroom or a home office, without clutter. It fits a decor that trusts raw materials and bare lines, and makes a memorable gift for anyone who loves design.

Frequently asked questions

How big is it?

The wood element measures 5.9 x 1.2 in (15 x 3 cm), a compact piece for a desk, a shelf, a console or a nightstand.

How does it float?

A magnetic system holds the light in the air above its support with no visible contact. Keep it away from other magnets and electronics sensitive to them.

What light does it use?

It uses an LED light source, which is included, stays cool and uses little energy for an everyday mood light.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the wood with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
