Natural Rattan That Lasts

When you choose a material to light a space, its lifespan and origin matter as much as its look. The natural woven rattan lantern meets that standard: hand woven in a naturally sturdy plant fiber, it ages well and gets better with time. Rattan is a renewable plant material, part of a more thoughtful way of buying, with no compromise on quality or looks. Each piece is worked with care to keep its strength season after season, indoors or in a sheltered outdoor space.

Indoors or Out, the Same Freedom

Set on a patio in summer or slipped into a living room corner in winter, the natural woven rattan lantern adapts to your spaces without constraint. Hand woven rattan handles light humidity changes, which gives it real versatility through the seasons. Simply bring it inside when temperatures drop and winter damp sets in: raw rattan needs that attention to keep its suppleness and hold over time. A simple habit that preserves years of use.

Soft Light for Your Evenings

An outdoor wedding, a family meal under the arbor, a table laid at dusk: these moments call for a light that wraps without glare. Hung or set down, the natural woven rattan lantern filters the flame through its tight weave, casting a warm, lively halo on your walls and guests. Rattan worked by hand strand by strand plays a role here glass or metal cannot: it breathes, it spreads, it softens. Each rattan lantern becomes much more than a decorative accessory; it is the piece that gives your evenings their intimate, natural atmosphere.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lantern?

It measures 11 x 11.8 in (28 x 30 cm), a good size for a dining table, a console, a step or the floor of a covered porch.

What light can I put inside?

A battery LED candle is the safest choice. A tealight in a glass holder also works if you never leave it unattended and keep the flame away from the weave.

Can it stay outside?

It is best on a covered patio or porch. Bring it inside in rain, since natural fibers last longest away from prolonged humidity.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven lantern with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
