Wood and Natural Sound

Mounted on a door or at the entrance of a room, this kind of object shows its nature at the first opening: the bell swings, rings, and the door becomes more than a neutral surface. Our oval wood frame brass door chime rests on a smooth wood frame whose regular curve contrasts with the living grain of the wood. The golden tone of the brass and the warm shades of the wood make each piece unique. It suits a busy entry as well as a sheltered shop door, bringing a soft sound presence without weighing down the composition.

Polished Wood, Grain and Light

Set against a light door or a raw wood frame, the oval wood frame door chime shows all the richness of a carefully worked material. The wood is sanded smooth so the grain stays visible, lively and slightly golden depending on the angle of the light. The brass bell that sits in the oval opening talks with these natural shades without crushing them. It is this balance between polished wood and sober brass that lets the chime fit a pared back contemporary interior as well as a warmer space in earthy tones.

Wood Between Door and Music

Mounted near a door, an oval wood frame brass door chime releases a clear sound, naturally shaped by each movement of the door. The frame is chosen for its density and regularity, two qualities that influence the look and the life of the piece. Each part is assembled by hand, for a balanced ring that stays consistent over time. The result pairs a sober look, suited to contemporary interiors as well as natural moods, with a real sound function. It fits a white door, a porch entry or a pared back shop front.
