Woven Rattan in an Almond Shape

Hung alone or grouped like a constellation on a wall, a rattan evil eye wall frame turns an ordinary surface into a living composition. The almond silhouette, achieved through precise hand weaving, gets its rigidity from the density of the layered strands, with no visible metal frame. Slip in a mirror to spread natural light, a photograph, or leave the weave bare so the rattan texture speaks for itself. This elongated shape suits a narrow hallway as well as a large living room, always with the measured presence only handwork can produce.

A Woven Pattern That Guides the Eye

The eye motif comes from the precise interlacing of rattan strands, forming a geometric repetition the eye naturally follows from one edge of the frame to the other. It is this hand woven construction that gives the rattan evil eye wall frame its strong visual character, well beyond a simple frame. On a bare wall or among other pieces, it structures the space without weighing it down. The regularity of the weave shows a skilled gesture, where each crossing of fiber contributes to the coherence of the whole. You get a rattan frame whose very shape tells of the work that produced it.

Natural Rattan for Your Home

Whether it dresses a clean lined living room wall or warms up a bedroom in soft tones, the rattan evil eye wall frame adapts to very different decor styles. Rattan brings something few materials can offer: a strong visual presence that never weighs down the space. Its natural texture, shaped by hand, goes with a contemporary decor as well as a more traditional interior. Hung alone or grouped on the same wall, these woven rattan frames create an atmosphere where handwork stays visible, appreciated and lasting.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the frame?

It measures 13 in (33 cm) long, a nice accent size for an entryway, a gallery wall or next to a doorway, alone or in a group.

What can I put in the center?

Slip in a small mirror, a photo or a print, or leave it open as wall art so the weave and the wall color show through.

What does the evil eye mean?

The evil eye is a traditional protective symbol around the Mediterranean and the Middle East, often hung near an entrance to bring good luck and ward off bad energy.

How do I care for the rattan?

Dust the weave with a soft brush or a hair dryer on cool. Keep it away from steam, standing water and direct sun, which can dry out rattan.
