A Planter That Moves With You

Slip in a pot, lift it by its strap and move your plants from room to room effortlessly: this everyday gesture becomes naturally smooth with the round hanging rattan planter. Its hand woven structure gives it a firm rigidity while keeping its weight low, which makes it easy to carry indoors, into the garden or onto the patio. The leather strap offers a secure grip and lets you hang it from a hook, even with a heavy pot inside. Simple in shape and useful in practice, this rattan and wicker planter suits succulents as well as trailing plants.

Holds Up Indoors and Out

Placing a rattan and wicker planter on a patio or a balcony exposes it to temperature swings, humidity and sunlight. Rattan and wicker, once tightly woven, form a naturally dense structure that absorbs these stresses without warping or weakening. Your plants stay securely in their container, sheltered from the jolts of wind. For long stays outdoors, choose a covered spot and apply a light coat of linseed oil to care for the tight weave and keep the strands supple. Indoors or on a covered patio, this planter adapts to its surroundings without losing its shape.

Rattan and Wicker, Naturally

Hand weaving rattan and wicker gives each round hanging rattan planter a living, slightly irregular texture no industrial material could reproduce. Hung from its strap or set on a piece of furniture, it wraps your plants in a plant material that resembles them, creating continuity between the pot, the foliage and their setting of natural fibers. Hand woven wicker reacts to daylight, revealing warm nuances that shift through the day and deepen over time. It is this harmony between the plant and its container that makes the whole look so right in a home.

Frequently asked questions

How do I hang it?

Hang it by its leather strap on a sturdy ceiling or wall hook suited to the weight of a potted plant with damp soil, or set it on a shelf or a side table.

Can I water the plant inside it?

Keep the plant in its own pot with a saucer or a plastic liner inside the basket, so water never soaks the weave. Empty any excess water after watering.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes, in a covered spot such as a porch or under a roof. Keep it out of direct rain and bring it inside in winter to protect the natural fibers and the leather strap.

How do I clean a rattan basket?

Remove dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or leaving it in direct sun for long periods.
