Rattan and Wood, a Natural Match

Set on an oak shelf or at the foot of a raw wood piece of furniture, the round lidded honey rattan basket immediately finds its place in interiors where natural materials rule. The warm tones of rattan answer the grain of the wood with a harmony few accessories achieve so simply. The fitted lid, woven row by row, closes the whole with precision while letting the contents breathe. Simple in shape and generous in proportion, it fits into a living room as well as a bedroom or an entryway where storage must stay discreet and neat.

Natural Rattan for Everyday Storage

From the bathroom cabinet to a corner of the living room, a round lidded rattan basket adapts to every room effortlessly. The lid, formed by a tight weave made by hand, keeps your things sheltered from dust while keeping a lovely visual regularity across the whole surface. Rattan fiber, supple to work but sturdy over time, gives this basket a strength synthetic materials cannot reproduce. You can slip in dry goods, linens, toys or small everyday items: the round shape makes access easy and fits naturally into a corner, on a shelf or at the foot of a bed.

Serve With Care and Character

Setting a round lidded honey rattan basket in the center of a laid table offers your guests much more than a container: it creates a simple, careful presentation where woven plant fiber adds depth to the moment. The hand fitted lid, with each row of rattan tightened evenly, keeps your bread, fruit or dishes warm while hiding them until the right moment. This basket also finds its place in a living room or an entryway, as an everyday catchall. Available in two diameters, it adapts to your needs without ever losing its handcrafted spirit.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose?

S (8.7 in across, 5.1 in high) suits bread rolls, tea bags or small accessories, while M (11 in across, same height) fits a loaf, fruit, yarn or linens.

Can I use it as a bread basket?

Yes. The lid keeps bread and rolls covered on the table. Line it with a cotton napkin and shake out crumbs after each use to keep the weave clean.

Does the lid close tightly?

The lid is woven to fit the basket and rests snugly on top. It keeps out dust but is not airtight, which lets the contents breathe.

How do I clean a rattan basket?

Remove dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or leaving it in direct sun for long periods.
