Woven Rattan for Your Walls

Hang it on a stretch of empty wall and you will immediately understand why hand woven rattan holds a special place in interior decor: its interlaced fibers catch the light and bring the surface to life with a texture no print can imitate. Each openwork woven wall plate is born from the same patient gesture, where the weave follows a regular rhythm until it forms a structured, stable and generous disc. The mix of rattan and cotton rope creates a play of materials that adds relief without weighing down the arrangement. Made by hand, this piece works alone on a pared back wall as well as within a group of wall plates for a coherent, lively arrangement.

Natural Rattan, Contrasting Tones

The interplay between the light fibers of raw rattan and the dark lines woven by hand creates a visual breathing space that structures the room without weighing it down. Where a neutral wall lacks relief, this round woven wall plate adds a discreet landmark, a presence the eye naturally returns to. The crafted weave, made by hand strand by strand, creates surface variations that catch the light differently through the day. The two tones, natural beige and black, go with a limewashed interior as well as dark plaster walls. An arrangement that plays its part without trying to dominate.

Natural Rattan for Every Room

From the living room to the entryway, a boho woven wall plate goes with the most varied moods thanks to its sand and honey tones, which do not try to dominate but to accompany what is already there. Each piece is woven by hand by makers who know the material down to its every resistance and curve. Raw rattan brings a warm presence without weighing down the space, whether next to a pared back white wall, a brick partition or a botanical wallpaper. This natural versatility makes it a piece you hang once and never move again.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the wall plate?

It measures 13.8 in (35 cm) across, a good size alone above a console or grouped with 2 to 5 woven plates of different sizes for a boho gallery wall.

How do I arrange a woven plate wall?

Lay the plates on the floor first to find a layout you like, mixing sizes and overlapping edges slightly, then hang the largest one first and build around it.

How do I hang it?

Hang it on a small nail or picture hook with a wall anchor suited to your wall. It is light, so a single hook is enough.

How do I care for it?

Dust the weave with a soft brush or a hair dryer on cool. Keep it away from steam, standing water and direct sun, which can dry out natural fibers.
