Hand Woven Rattan Storage

Setting a small rectangular rattan basket on a shelf or by a sink is often the first step toward a better organized home, without giving up visual pleasure. Each strand is woven with regularity to create a firm structure, able to hold skincare as well as pens or everyday accessories. Choose natural, brown or sunny yellow to suit varied moods, from a pared back decor to a more traditional style. The edges are carefully finished to avoid any rough spots, the sign of rigorous handwork you feel the first time you pick it up.

Natural Rattan Woven by Hand

Behind the simple shape of this small woven rattan basket is careful basketwork: each strand is bent, crossed and tightened with a technique that gives the walls their characteristic rigidity. The material, supple while being woven, gradually hardens once the structure is finished, offering a firm hold that does not warp under the weight of what you store. It moves easily from an office shelf to the edge of the bathtub. Its low, narrow shape fits drawers, vanities and medicine cabinets.

Rattan Between Order and Character

Organizing without visually cluttering a room is exactly what this small rectangular basket allows: it absorbs clutter while adding a warm presence to the space. Hand woven rattan has the rare quality of being both practical and full of decorative personality. Its colors and clean lines suit a contemporary interior as well as a more rustic or country mood. On a shelf, in a drawer or on a counter, this rattan basket finds its place effortlessly and keeps it for a long time thanks to the strength of a careful hand weave.
