Bamboo and Rattan Woven by Hand

Two plant materials, one everyday object: the bamboo laundry hamper is born from a considered pairing of two stems with complementary characters, one supple, the other firm, that the basket maker brings together with care for a weave that is both strong and regular. To the touch, the surface shows slight irregularities, proof of shaping done without molds or machines. The reinforced handles carry the weight of laundry without bending, while the open structure lets air circulate freely. In a bathroom or a bedroom corner, this hamper stores without disappearing.

Shape and Details That Fit In

When your eye follows the vertical ribs of the square bamboo hamper, it immediately notices the care given to each curve and each corner of the structure. The rectangular footprint is no accident: it makes good use of bathroom or bedroom corners without sacrificing useful volume. The woven rope handles make it easy to move every day, offering a firm grip without weighing down the silhouette. The fitted lid discreetly closes the contents and keeps the visual harmony of the room, whether in a contemporary interior or a rawer natural decor.

Bamboo and Rattan, Naturally

Putting away laundry feels different when the container itself deserves to be noticed. Woven by hand from carefully selected bamboo and rattan, this bamboo laundry hamper combines proven strength with a beautifully regular weave, visible on every row. The two plant materials complement each other: rattan brings flexibility, bamboo reinforces the structure. In the bathroom, a bedroom or a hallway, it fits effortlessly into a simple, warm decor. An everyday accessory designed to last, which gains character with the years.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the square bamboo hamper?

It measures 19.7 x 15.7 in (50 x 40 cm) and 11.8 in (30 cm) high. Its low, wide shape fits under a bathroom counter, at the foot of a bed or in a closet.

Does it have a lid and handles?

Yes, it has a fitted woven lid to keep laundry out of sight, and two rope handles so you can carry it to the washing machine.

Can I put damp towels in it?

Let towels dry before tossing them in. Natural fibers breathe, but leaving wet laundry inside for days can cause mildew. Empty the hamper regularly and let it air out.

How do I clean a rattan basket?

Remove dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or leaving it in direct sun for long periods.
