A Lantern for Every Moment

Set on a side table or hung at eye level, a vintage woven bamboo candle lantern changes the nature of a space as soon as the flame is lit. Made to hold a candle, it spreads a dimmed light no bulb truly reproduces, with a shadow play that varies with the tight weave of each panel. The built in arched handle lets you move it from one room to another or carry it out to the patio effortlessly. From a dinner with friends to an evening in the garden, this woven lantern adapts to the moment with a simplicity that reveals the quality of its handmade construction.

Woven Fiber and Light Over Time

Placing a candle inside a vintage woven bamboo candle lantern means watching the light pass through each hand woven crossing and draw patterns on the wall you will not find anywhere else. The fiber used here has a natural density that lets it go through the years without warping or weakening, as long as it is kept away from prolonged humidity. Each strand is selected for its regularity, which ensures an even structure and a lasting hold. You can use this piece in your everyday interior as well as for a festive table or an evening outdoors in dry weather.

Dimmed Light for Your Evenings

When evening falls on a patio or a garden, the lighting you choose changes the whole mood of the moment. Set on the ground, hung from a branch or grouped on a table, the vintage woven bamboo candle lantern spreads a soft, enveloping light that turns any gathering into a memorable evening. The natural weave filters the flame finely, creating light, moving shadows on the surfaces around it. Whether for an outdoor dinner, a summer party or a simple drink with friends, this woven lantern brings a visual warmth no electric light can reproduce.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lantern?

It measures 11.8 x 14.6 in (30 x 37 cm) including the handle, a good size on a table, a shelf, a step or the floor of a porch.

Can I use a real candle?

Yes, it is made for a candle. Use a candle in a glass holder, never leave it unattended, and keep the flame well away from the woven sides. A battery LED candle is the safest choice.

Can it stay outside?

Use it outdoors in dry weather, then bring it back in. Natural bamboo and rattan last longest under cover, away from rain and prolonged humidity.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven lantern with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
