A Rattan Balloon for a Child's Room

Hung from a bedroom ceiling, a hand shaped hot air balloon tells a story before you even get close: the promise of a still journey, a fantasy caught between two dreams. Our hanging woven rattan hot air balloon decor is woven from natural fibers whose soft earthy tones suit a colorful interior as well as a calmer decor. Each piece comes from a weaver's hands, with the slight weave irregularities of a unique object. Placed near a window, it catches the light and casts fine shadows that bring the walls to life through the day.

Natural Fiber Woven by Hand

Once cut and dried, the fiber shows a rare suppleness the weaver turns into living volumes. For this hanging woven rattan hot air balloon, each strand is crossed at a precise rhythm, forming the rounded balloon and the small basket below. The basket offers a little hollow for a dried flower or a tiny keepsake. The natural tone of raw fiber suits light walls as well as warmer shades without forcing the harmony. The structure stays light despite its hold, so it hangs easily from a ceiling hook.

Natural Fiber in Your Child's Room

Supple and sturdy, woven natural fiber adapts to many shapes, including the ones that make little ones dream. Our woven rattan hot air balloon decor fits into a child's room as a living object full of imagination, without weighing down the space. Each stem is bent and tied by hand, which gives the piece a visual lightness an industrial material cannot reproduce. This woven hanging decor ages well and keeps its shape over the years. A coherent choice for a room that favors real materials over passing effects.
