Wicker, Wood and Metal Together

Three materials come together here with rare precision: hand woven wicker, natural wood and an inner metal structure that gives the Japanese style woven wicker standing lamp a discreet solidity without weighing down its silhouette. The warm tones of raw wicker speak naturally with light woodwork, white walls or linen textiles, fitting very varied palettes. Each strand is placed by hand for a lasting hold and an even look. This wicker lamp pairs sturdy construction with visual lightness, two qualities rarely found together.

Sober, Lasting LED Light

Behind the wicker weave lies a glowing heart made for everyday use: fitted with an LED bulb, it uses little energy while spreading a soft light, filtered by the plant fiber. The play of shadow and light passing through the hand woven structure creates a calming projection on your walls, close to the Japanese wabi sabi spirit. Your wicker standing lamp suits a reading corner as well as a rest area, without overheating or weighing on your electricity bill. A rare balance between energy savings and visual warmth.

Light and Weave in Harmony

Setting a Japanese style woven wicker standing lamp in a room means choosing a light that speaks with the space rather than dominating it. The wicker weave, done by hand, filters the light and casts a veil of soft brightness on the walls, suited to relaxing as well as concentrating. Hand woven wicker brings an organic, warm presence no industrial coating can reproduce. Inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns, this lamp naturally finds its place in a pared back interior, next to a rattan armchair or light wood furniture.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lamp?

It measures 39.4 x 13.8 in (100 x 35 cm), a lantern like size for the floor beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed.

How do I switch it on?

It has a push button switch on the cord, easy to reach with your hand or foot, so you never have to reach behind furniture.

What bulb does it use?

It takes an E27 base bulb. The bulb is not included. Choose LED, which stays cool next to natural fibers, in a warm white around 2700K for a cozy glow.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven wicker with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
