Wood and LED, a Sober Light

Lighting a room without harshness is what this modern Japanese wood slat ceiling light makes possible with its energy saving LED. The warmth of worked wood tempers the precision of artificial light, creating a luminous balance rare in a ceiling light of this size. Each slat is placed to let light through at measured intervals, true to the restraint of Japanese aesthetics. Sober in form, energy saving in use, it meets both the standards of a contemporary interior and controlled everyday consumption.

Wood and Light Every Day

When light passes through wood and warms a white ceiling, it reveals what artificial lighting often struggles to offer: a soft presence, with no harshness. This modern Japanese wood slat ceiling light relies on clean volumes and materials selected for their density and stability. The wood does not play a purely decorative role; it structures the light and absorbs harsh reflections. Mounted in a bedroom, an entry or a study, it fits naturally in a furnished room as well as a space you are building from scratch. The durability of the whole, frame and finish alike, makes it a light made to stay.

Wood Light, Wabi Sabi Spirit

Mounting a light source on the ceiling also means choosing the atmosphere that bathes a whole room. The modern Japanese wood slat ceiling light answers that intention with assumed sobriety: wood brings a visual warmth synthetic materials do not deliver. LED light passes between the slats to cast soft shadows on the walls, evoking the wabi sabi philosophy of imperfect beauty. Wood and LED together pair controlled consumption with real decorative presence, without superfluous frills. It is available in white or black to match your ceiling and decor.
