Natural Rattan That Stands the Test of Time

Behind each rattan gourd vase lies a plant material with remarkable qualities: supple when shaped, sturdy once dried, and biodegradable at the end of its life. The rattan is harvested and worked in a way that respects natural growth cycles, ensuring it stays available. Each piece is woven by hand, with tension and regularity adjusted row after row, for a solid structure and a surface with a precise grain. Choosing this woven rattan vase means choosing an object whose making, use and end of life stay coherent with respect for resources.

A Gift That Means Something

When it is time to choose a gift off the beaten path, a rattan gourd vase holds attention well beyond the first impression. Made by hand, it combines the strength of a tight woven structure with the natural warmth of raw rattan. Its size suits a console, a sideboard or a windowsill, holding dried branches as well as dried floral arrangements. Made to last, it goes through the seasons without falling apart or losing its shape, which makes it an object people keep rather than a gift they put away. Giving a woven rattan vase means giving something truly usable.

Indoors or Under Cover

Covered terrace, bright entryway, living room open to the garden: the rattan gourd vase naturally finds its place in each setting. Rattan handles the change between an air conditioned interior and a sheltered outdoor space without weakening, which makes it a truly versatile piece. Set on a piece of furniture with a few dried stems or on a covered patio table, it blends effortlessly into your botanical arrangement. This dense, regular hand weave gives it the strength that allows this freedom of placement.
