A Round, Space Saving Shape

In a narrow hallway or a bathroom corner, the circular silhouette of a rattan laundry hamper with a cotton liner takes up floor space discreetly while offering generous storage volume. Its rounded shape slips naturally against a wall or into a nook without creating awkward corners. Hand woven rattan gives the structure lasting rigidity, while the soft cotton liner protects delicate laundry from any rough contact. Filling and emptying it is effortless, with a wide opening at the top your hand finds without thinking.

A Woven Lid for Every Use

Put the lid on and the waiting laundry visually disappears, without closing the room in on itself. The round rattan hamper thus gains a double role: everyday laundry storage and an extra surface when you need one. The hand woven basketwork lets air circulate between the strands, which keeps laundry from trapping moisture. Cotton and rattan work together to soften the whole: the cotton lines the inside while the rattan shapes the form. The result is an object that belongs in a bedroom, a bathroom or a hallway without ever clashing with the decor.

Discreet, Natural Storage

Tucked into a bathroom corner or set at the foot of a wardrobe, a rattan laundry hamper with a cotton liner blends into the decor without ever weighing it down. Everyday laundry finds an orderly place, out of sight, without resorting to a plastic bin that clashes with the rest of the room. The tight weave of natural rattan, lined with woven cotton, lets air circulate. Over time, this living material develops a golden patina that suits a bright white interior as well as a room in warm tones.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the round laundry hamper?

It measures 18.1 in (46 cm) high and 14.2 in (36 cm) across. It holds about one load of laundry and fits easily in a bathroom corner or a closet.

Is the cotton liner removable?

The white cotton liner protects delicate fabrics from the weave. If it gets marked, spot clean it with mild soap and a damp cloth, and let it dry fully before use.

Can I put damp towels in it?

Let towels dry before tossing them in. Natural fibers breathe, but leaving wet laundry inside for days can cause mildew. Empty the hamper regularly and let it air out.

How do I clean a rattan basket?

Remove dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Avoid soaking it or leaving it in direct sun for long periods.
