A Basket Bed Built to Last

In a hallway, next to a radiator or in full view in the living room, a round hand woven basket bed changes the way your pet uses the space. Each piece comes from the hands of an artisan who ties, crosses and tightens the fiber row after row until the walls are firm and even. The result is a sturdy, generous round nest with low sides your pet can step over easily. Its tight woven structure keeps its shape over time, without buckling or sagging, even with daily use. Choose it with or without the soft cushion.

Natural Fiber That Stands the Test of Time

Woven natural fiber is dense and supple at once, which lets it be tightly woven around a frame without losing its lightness. That is exactly what artisans use when shaping each hand woven basket bed: the strands interlace in regular rows, forming firm walls that hold a curled up cat as well as a folded throw. The tight weave limits warping over time, even under repeated use. The material breathes and ages with a golden patina that deepens over the years, the sign of a woven basket made to last.

Natural Fiber, Cozy Style

Giving your pet a resting place without visually cluttering a room is exactly what this round woven basket bed allows. Its dense, regular weave gives it a simple visual presence that suits a contemporary interior as well as a more rustic decor. Natural fiber has the rare quality of aging gracefully: its warm tone develops a patina over time without ever looking dated. Set on the floor, near a window or next to a sofa, this hand woven basket becomes a cozy corner that fits naturally into your home.

Frequently asked questions

What size pet is it for?

At 18.5 in (47 cm) across and about 6.5 in (16 to 17 cm) high, it suits cats and small dogs up to about 15 lb (7 kg) that like to curl up.

With or without the cushion?

Choose the cushion for a soft, ready to use bed. Without it, you can add your own blanket, or use the basket for throws, toys or firewood.

Is it suitable for puppies that chew?

Wicker is natural and sturdy, but a determined chewer can damage any woven bed. For young puppies, supervise the first days and offer chew toys so the bed stays a place to rest.

How do I clean a wicker pet bed?

Vacuum the weave with a brush attachment to remove hair, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Remove the cushion and wash its cover following its care label.
