No, they are wall decorations. In a child's room, hang them out of reach, away from the crib or bed, and not as playthings.

Round Volumes Inspired by Play

When the roundness of a balloon meets hand woven rattan, the result is two hanging forms that recall the simple joys of childhood without becoming a gimmick. This set of 2 woven rattan balloon wall decor pieces hangs lightly on the wall, letting the natural weave speak for itself. The airy structure of each shape filters light and creates discreet shadows on your walls, in a child's room or a living room corner. Made by hand, each volume shows slight weave variations that reflect the care in its making.

Woven Rattan in Two Round Shapes

Behind the rounded silhouette of each piece lies basketry done by hand, where the rattan strand follows a continuous curve with no visible break or seam. It is this regular weave that gives the set of 2 woven rattan balloons their light strength and confident volume. Hung side by side or at different heights, the two objects naturally talk with a bare wall, a shelf or a console. Their neat edge to edge finish shows care from shaping the frame to the last woven row.

Natural Rattan in Round Forms

Hanging these two rounded volumes above a bed or a dresser lets a soft plant presence into your home. Each piece of this set of 2 woven rattan balloon wall decor is woven by hand, which gives each strand a slightly different path, so no two sets are exactly alike. The round shape, sober and calming, suits a pared back decor as well as a warmer interior mixing wood, linen and ceramic. These rattan accessories fit easily into a composition, alone or paired with other natural materials.
