Solar Light, No Plugging In

As soon as the sun goes down, your patio lights up by itself: the waterproof solar rattan lantern collects energy during the day to give back a soft light in the evening, with no extension cord and nothing to do on your part. The built in solar panel works silently during sunny hours, powering the LEDs at nightfall for self powered, steady lighting. Frugal in its energy use, this rattan lantern suits a balcony as well as a garden, with a waterproof light unit made to live outdoors.

Rattan That Handles the Weather

Set on a patio exposed to showers or along a windswept garden path, the waterproof solar rattan lantern keeps working without asking for special care. The tight rattan weave forms a light, natural envelope around the waterproof light unit. In rain as in cold weather, the solar cell keeps charging during the day to give off a soft, amber light at night. Made to live outdoors, it fits a garden as well as a sunroom or a balcony, without sacrificing the warmth of natural materials. Keeping it under a porch roof during long rainy spells helps the rattan last even longer.

A Gift Through the Seasons

Finding a present that pairs usefulness and character is not always easy, especially when you do not know your host's exact taste. The waterproof solar rattan lantern meets that challenge naturally: its soft light works with no plug, and its hand woven rattan suits a pared back interior as well as a lush patio. Giving a rattan lantern as a housewarming gift means bringing something that will truly be used, from the very first evening. The plant material, worked with care, gives this light a warm presence that goes through trends without ever looking out of place.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the lantern?

It measures 7.9 x 6.9 x 6.9 in (20 x 17.5 x 17.5 cm), a compact size for a table, a step, a railing or a garden path.

How does the solar charging work?

The small solar panel charges the built in battery during the day, and the light switches on by itself at dusk. Place it where it gets several hours of direct sun.

Can it stay outside?

Yes, the solar light unit is waterproof. The shade is natural rattan and bamboo, so sheltering it under a porch roof during long rainy spells helps it last longer.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulb cool. Dust the woven lantern with a soft brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum, then wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed. Never soak natural fibers.
