Woven Rattan and Knotted Trim

Set on a sideboard or at the foot of a bed, a woven basket with pom poms quietly transforms a corner of a room without trying to stand out. This one is shaped by hand from rattan fibers selected for their strength and natural golden tone, then assembled row after row with a regularity only human hands can produce. The light pom poms knotted by hand add rhythm along the rim, creating a contrast between the rigor of the weave and the lightness of the trim. Each piece shows slight variations in material that make it truly one of a kind.

Woven Rattan, Playful Trim

When you lift the woven belly basket with pom poms, the trim moves with it, quietly bringing each movement to life. The weave reveals what you store inside without ever weighing down the overall silhouette. The handles, built directly into the weave, give a firm, balanced grip, even when the basket is well filled. This dialogue between hand woven rattan and soft pom poms creates a relief the eye picks up instantly, with nothing artificial added. Set on the floor, on a shelf or carried, it anchors a corner of a room with a simple, coherent presence.

Natural Rattan in Your Daily Life

Placing a rattan basket with pom poms in a room lets in a living material with warm highlights and textures the hand recognizes at first touch. Each basket is woven by hand, which gives it slight variations in shape and tone: no two are exactly alike. The pom poms add a soft movement, a finishing detail that reflects the attention paid to every step. This kind of piece fits an entryway, a bedroom or a living room, carrying the warmth of woven rattan and the honesty of an object shaped by hand.
